Movie: Collateral - I really dig this type of gritty action-psychological thriller
TV Show: Ultraman - I enjoy the various incarnations because it's like a mini-monster movie every episode! Some are admittedly better than others. The franchise has really evolved over the years.
Director: Ishirō Honda - One of the four founding fathers of Godzilla, this guy directed most of the earliest Godzilla movies, including the true gem of the series, the original Gojira. He did other Toho giant monster movies too. The only thing I disagree with was his belief that Godzilla should have ended with 1968's Destroy All Monsters (or was it Terror of Mechagodzilla?), because I have many favorites from recent years as well.
Actor: Akira Takarade - He played starring heroic roles in many of Toho's giant monster movies and for some reason I always like a character if he plays him.
Music band: Nine Inch Nails - Not just because of the awesome music Trent Reznor's responsible for, but also for having introduced me to several other bands as I researched the band's connections.
Song: Torn between Ruiner by Nine Inch Nails and Magdalena by A Perfect Circle. The first is a seething, desperate cry of pain from someone who's lost his or her innocence to the one responsible for it. The latter is the darkest kind of love song, the narrator being reduced to an utterly pathetic lover at the mercy of the perfect woman in his eyes.
Book: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas - this story hooked me the whole way through its great length. I like the be able to sympathize with a protagonist and I definitely like it when he or she doesn't take guff from other people. Mercedes's son's story serves as an interesting sub-plot as well, and is an essential point of comparison with Dantes's.
Video Game: Super Castlevania IV - the level design is exciting, the graphics beautifully present the grotesqueness of Castle Dracula, and the eight-directional whip makes for one of my all-time favorite control schemes.
Can someone just throw out like two dozen more? Because I enjoy doing these kinds of lists.
