Least Favorite RPG

What's one that is your least favorite?

It used to be Phantasy Star Portable, but so far .hack//Link will take it's place.

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Lance

It's an action-style RPG...And as far as RPGs go, I have yet to play anything worse.

I can't even remember the title, but there was a sorry attempt on the Dreamcast I picked up 15 years ago that had random dungeons, then set your level back to 1 after every map. I wanted to like it because I paid for it. But I should have cut my losses sooner and sold it back used and put the 3 dollars toward something playable.

I'm in the mood to tick some people off, so I'll say Xenogears.

Okay, here me out.

I will admit that Xenogears is ambitious title, and that is it's core strength - it's ambition and scale and completely awesome soundtrack. But the game is so ambitious that it completely misses the point of being fun. GamePro gave the game a 1.5 or 2.5 in funfactor back in the day and I have to completely agree. So while I can appreciate Xenogears for what it tries to accomplish, I feel it's far from being perfect. Man, all those 10 out of 10's on GameFAQ's... really? Can you gave a 10 out of 10 to a game that is clearly not finished?

I'm gonna give you a top five.
