Kurt Vonnegut, author of such classics as 'Slaughterhouse-Five', 'Breakfast Of Champions'and 'Welcome To The Monkey House', has died at the age of 84. He was one of my favorie authors, and was a nice guy. Living and woking in Northampton, MA where he taught at Smith College I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with him in several occasions. He will be missed....

"Greetings"! Kurt will not really be completely missed because he is preserved for all time in his books. He was a real role model for being an authentic person in an insane world. Although his writing is not up there with Proust or Shakespeare, he was a great man during the golden age of our generation. I'm not sure we'll live up to his vision.
