Who keeps changing profile pictures

Someone on this site keeps changing profile pictures to old bikini photos. It's getting creepy, and that person needs to stop!

Especially Jessica Clements and Nicola Cavanis. Let me know when you find them, but it's probably some loser troll who still lives in their parents' basement.

And then they blocked the photo I picked so I can't change it back!

I'm having the same issue too. It's beyond annoying. Ugh.

Unfortunately this is an ongoing problem highlighted by other users in the past on the forum. I try and change some back to headshots where possible as requested (by the site when choosing an image), however someone who must spend all day and night on this site continually changes them back to old bikini photos, usually within minutes.

Ironically a number of images can now not be used as Profile pictures which in theory was a good idea, but many you can not use are in fact the exact images we are supposed to use ie Head/Shoulder images, yet somehow loads of full body/bikini images can still be used, makes little sense!!

Could this person be a mod?

I would hope not. When you go to pick an image as the profile it clearly states on the system to pick head/shoulder only and NOT full body shots so I would have thought a mod highly unlikely to break the site rules.

It would be interesting to find out from Tom or a Mod, why a lot of Head/Shoulder images which meet all the correct critea are being blocked as the Profile picture and why loads of bikini and full body images and loads where the have their backed turned so you cant even see their face are still available to be chosen.

Certainly a few years ago any image could be used, despite the request to select only Head/Shoulder, then a while back loads of images suddenly could not be used, not sure how this came about, but many of the now blocked images were Head/Shoulder pics so its a complete mess now.

Somebody keeps doing this for Rena Takeda as well. I am a fan of bikini photos, but come on. Profile picture should be professional, at least.

It has to be someone with some privileges because not only do they change the photo back but then they block all the other photos. The only way I can change it is to upload new photos.

@SA-512 And yet when I tried to change the photos back to more respectful photos, our little troll stopped me. So something must be wrong here.

@SA-512 Also they are able to set profile pictures that are blocked to the rest of us from using. So they must have admin rights or similar!!

Btw why are so many respectful images blocked from being used as profile pictures? How does it work?

It could be that an automated process is classifying random images as NSFW.
These images cannot be set as profile images. Moderators cannot fix this.

Moderators cannot classify, block or unblock images.
Moderators cannot determine who is setting profile images.

@SA-512 - The images which you say cannot be set as a profile image because the automated system has classified them as NSFW are in fact still being used by this person to set profile images.

I/We can only use images which have the - "Make this the primary/profile image" aginst the image to set as the profile image.

This person is somehow getting past the automated system and can use any image they want.

I wonder if they have some software they are running which over-rides the system and randomly changes images back to their preferences. We have all noticed images get changed back to this person choices minutes after one of us try to change an image to a site approved image.

Also as @FartNut666 points out the automated process is blocking many images which are exactly what we are being asked to use as the profile image, whilst still allowing some that dont meet the site rules.

@pdw55 - it wouldn't be the first time that happened. I remember a few years ago, a person/persons were changing Trump's profile, the names of his books (which are, if I remember, are pulled from the Amazon link), etc,...

@TrekMedic - yeah its all very weird. So Adison Justis img id=23063673 in theory can not be used as her Profile Image as the option to set the image as her profile is not available, however its now just been changed to her Profile Image.

There should be a record for changing profile pictures. I am surprised that there isn't one already.

Someone keeps changing Anushka Sharma's profile pic back to the bikini picture that is currently set despite me changing it several times. Bikini modelling is not even her occupation.

Rena Takeda's case is similar. While she is a bikini model, she is primarily an actress, but someone keeps changing professional pics to modelling pics.

That's happening too for Korean and Japanese celebrities, to photos from when they were minors.

And that it's just creepy and wrong!

It’s actually not very difficult to decipher who is behind the message on my profile. Just look at the AI filtered profile picture.

As for the changing of profile pictures, I think it’s really impossible that only one person is behind this. It’s probably different people with too much time on their hands.

LOL I found an acceptable face picture that was allowed for www.listal.com/ashley-tervort. Less than an hour later the profile photo was back to the full body bikini photo that I had switched out.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me with Klaudia Kalia and Trisha Hershberger.

Unfortunately I think this is something we are going to have to live with. Mods have taken a look but cant get to the bottom of how its being done.
I do think though the 'automated process' for filtering out unsuitable profile images is not fit for purpose, it blocks some but far from all images which should be blocked and blocks loads of images which should be allowed.

Happened again, with Kazusa Okuyama. A good photo was replaced with a bikini picture, and that good photo cannot be put again. I had to put another pic in place.

This is so funny. I've changed Alexa Collins and Lizzy Brandani profile pictures to good head shots three times, Within 15 minutes someone has changed them back to full length bikini photos or close to explicit photo (for Lizzy Brandani).

Someone has a little bot that they have programmed to alert them to the changes. Very funny. How about banning the user or IP????

Well, that's a head-scratcher! Maybe fullfathom has the answer? @EizaLover, you should contact Tom directly (he rarely looks at the forums) with that information.

@EizaLover: the mods have already disavowed themselves of being able to control this. I again think fullfathom has the right idea.

Yes I reported this to the Mods some time ago that someone has the abitity to use blocked images for the profile, but they could not work out how it was being done. It also does not seem to be a mod priortity, I think they have also advised they can not see who changes profile images.

As I have mentioned before we would be better off removing the automated process which chooses what images are suitable and which are not as it clearly does not work, loads of images that should be acceptable are being blocked. I did message Tom about this but got no reply.

@pdw55 That's messed up because this person can run the site better than the mods can, only this person doesn't, they just want to see the site being dragged down, very childish. I hope Tom can do something about it but what from I've read on this forum he doesn't really do much when it comes to this site because people message him constantly and he almost never replies.

@EizaLower: politics aside, a few years ago, a person or persons came in, changed Donald Trump's profile, the names of his books, TV shows, and such, as well as those of his family members, cabinet members, TV and radio personalities who supported him, etc..., the mods expressed a great deal of frustration over returning the information back to normal, only to have it repeatedly changed. I'm not a computer expert, but I can guess there's some gap in Listal's coding that continues to allow it.
That said, I have alerted Tom with the URLs of the so-called "non-profile" pics. I suggest we all do the same to give him enough material to try and stop it?

I'm no computer expert either, but can only assume as @TrekMedik says someone has the know how to override the image protocols.

Do you think Tom will listen if enough people present this problem to him? And if he does, do you think he'll be able to fix it if it's a coding issue?

@EizaLover: I've contacted Tom, linking this thread and the 3-4 pics I've already identified as "defying" the profile picture lock. In my experience, if he hears from multiple parties, he tends to act quicker to fix the problem. Sending examples will probably help him identify the way this person (or persons) is getting around the coding.

I changed the full length bikini profile picture to a Listal guideline front face shot. Less than twenty minutes later a full length bikini photo is back on the profile.
It's kind of a ping pong game. I switch it and the individual changes it right back.

Tom just replied to me. He's unsure how this is possible, but looking into it.
I suggest sending more examples.

@TrekMedic - I have messaged Tom giving him examples of images which are blocked yet somehow being used, and also images which can be used which clearly should'nt and images which are clearly acceptable but are being blocked.

The individual changing profile pictures has something figured out. they were able to use www.listal.com/viewimage/27787426 as the Profile picture for Kelsey GIl and that is not a selectable picture.

I am positive that it is one individual and I am currently playing ping pong with them on about 30 profiles. I change the profile away from a full bikini picture, they change it back to the same or similar bikini photo.

The funny thing is I post a ton of bikini photos, right? But the site individual(s) that set things up request: Please ensure if possible the profile image is a portrait shot where the face is visable as a small thumbnail image, do not set full body shots as the profile image.

I guess it's a game at this point. The individual is definately NOT following that request.
