Judging on annoying voices

I was on IMDB and something got my attention, is that people were judging actors because they have an annoying voice. These bloggers were saying that if they have an annoying voice they are a bad actor, I think that is dumb because you judge on their acting not their voice or how annoying they are. Like for me I havent seen any Penelope Cruz movie, but I have seen her on the red carpet, and to me she is annoying, but if I see her in a movie and she impresses me why cant I say she is a good actress. So am I the only one who feels this way.

I agree with you, if the actor is a good actor people should not worry about how they sound or how they look. If however an actor is portraying a character with an accent and fails miserably then I encourage all critics to jump all over the performance. But if it is just the way someone naturally sounds judging them by their voice is a little bit harsh.

Yeah, Julia Roberts is annoying, but I think she did a really good job in Erin Brockovich or whatever that movies was
