Items number

When I look at the home pages of my sections and look at the "my actors" and similar sections, the number underneath each person is never usually the same as when I click it. Is this number supposed to be how many items in my collection have this person in it? Or is it something else? The two numbers match in my Books and Music collections though...

Also, I would just like to point out that the DVDs and Movies sections have "My actors and actresses", but the TV section is just called "My actors". Would you be able to change this? :)
