IPad drag and drop

In the page for rearranging list items, it's impossible to drag and drop items. There are ways to make dragging and dropping possible for the iPad and other touch screen devices. Would be a good addition to the site as touch screens proliferate.

It's strange that this doesn't work since it works on desktop safari, not sure how easy this will be to fix.

The touch screen is the problem. There is no way to distinguish a "click" from a "drag". You "click" as soon as you touch the screen.

The problem is generic to touch screen devices, not just the iPad.

You should buy yourself an iPad, it's pretty cool. That might speed things up development wise too ;)

Being able to edit listal in ipad safari would be awesome. iCab Mobile lets the user drag and drop sfter activating desktop mode, but it isn't optimal. Soon, there will be a lot of iPad users around here wishing the same. Hope Tom make it someday.
