inline picture size limit

i think a limit to the size of inline pictures would make sense as too big pictures tend to blow up threads like you can see here for instance:

maybe there is even a possibility to resize them automatically in the correct aspect ratio.

for now, i'm deleting posts that have too big of an image. Either people resize them manually or they find smaller pictures to post.

I added a script to resize them, the bar may still show while the page is loading.

ah, you are the best Tom :). only, the pop-up window is way wider than the full size image itself.
