images list

hi, how can i make images list?

i noticed this list:www.listal.com/list/photos-by-me-sfg
and going to SFG¿mystic's lists i saw that he can sort his lists by images too, instead i can't.
why?

For the most part your just repeating step 1 and step 2 to pick the images to add to a list. Hum... might need to rewrite that blog post.

ok now that i know it is simple, but i think that it can be more clear:
since there is the possibility to add images by urls, image list can be created as the other lists:
create new list -- image list -- add urls

what do you think about? there are problems for do it?

Ah... I will have to update that. I had never really tried to use the URL area. It only works for images that are stored on Listal. I foolishly thought you could use that function for adding images from another site. I was wrong.

So, really your best sticking with finding the image you want to use and just adding it to a list using the big blue "+ Add to list" button.

i tryed to add images that aren't stored on listal and it works, no problem for this.

I'm about halfway through with a new version of that walk-through. It is just takes time to create all those images.

So, yep I updated that post. I left out all the information about using URLs in a image list.

Since you can only use images on the Listal site your still going to have to find the image to find the URL for that image... so... why not just hit the big blue "+Add to List" button while your hunting for the URL?

Sure someone might find it useful but I'll leave that to people who are smarter then I am.

1-why do you say that can be added imgages on listal only? i added images from differents sites.

2-my previous message was focused about create image list as the other lists(movie, tv ecc...):
click the "create new list" button, choose what type of list(in this case "image list), add urls. like this:

it's an advice for an eventual solution, i don't know if it's possible...

sometimes there are two bugs, i don't know why:
-added images are duplicated
-there are images that i haven't added

1. OK, I personally can not add images to Listal using the URL area. I have gotten it to work on a few tumbler accounts. However, the sites that I frequently visit adding images via URL simply doesn't work.

2. That is a good idea. Not sure why images aren't listed there currently.

Bug issues: Are you getting duplicates and images you haven't added when you are adding an image using the URL or using the "+add to list" button."? That might help clear things up for... someone far smarter then me. I think that this might be an issue only Tom can solve.

yes i also thought that bugs are caused by adding images with urls from other sites and it's true, but maybe i found some tricks to avoid bugs with these kind of urls. i try to explain:

i noticed that bugs not occur when:
after copying the url,paste it in the type box, drag the image in the section, you "refresh" the section before do it again with another image. (for refresh, i mean just click on it)

instead if you add images without refresh the section, in the list appear duplicated images and other images not added by you.

here there is an example bug too:

Which url's don't work? I will look into the duplicate image issue.

ok now i discovered that bugs occur when you add images by urls, regardless of where you take it:
you can take url from listal or other sites but the bug will occur anyway...

however(as i said before), they occur only if you add multiple images without refresh the section.
