15 years, 7 months ago at Oct 10 0:15 - Okayy, so if your a mega huge fan of the Maximum Ride novels by James Patterson, you have probably already heard of the news of the new books that are coming out.
The sixth book in the series witch will be called Fang is due to come out March of next year. Which in the book(hearing this from James Paterson himself) Angel makes a very very disturbing prediction that Fang will die before max. :( lets all pray that he doesnt!
And volume 2 of the manga is either already out or is due to come out this month. the cover looks AHH-MAZING. I still have not read the first one yet but plan to this weekend:)
AND! Ive herd news of the first Maximum Ride movie is supposed to come out next year around Christmas time(awsome present to everyone:]) and that they just started filming it this month. I just have not heard of the official cast. Some are saying that the Twilight Couple which is Kyrstin Stewart and Rob are supposed to be Max and Fang but i find this realy hard to believe, and if they are i swear i will shoot the director.:/ The first movie is supposed to start from the beggining of the first book to the bigging of the second, proving that there will be a movie for each book. (roumored dont know if its true:/)
But anyway. ive been reading the series for a couple of years now and ive had books one through 4 but i never did finish the 4th one, thus i decided to reread the series this week and i am already on book four. im waiting on getting the 5th one. Im supposed to be getting it this weekend so lets hope that it works out that way:)
i would really like some information on the cast of the movie or any other info that someone might have. like i said i havent even finished the fourth book now so please try if you can to not spoil anything.!:)

James Patterson wrote "When the Wind Blows" which was an absolutely brilliant story about genetically enhanced children on the run from a facility which ran all sorts of inhumane tests on babies, it introduced Max and her fellow orphans to the series really well. He followed up with "Lake House" a sequel which was also really good and left them all happily ever after. Both were books aimed at older readers I would imagine. My mother showed me the book after her and my dad had read it, I enjoyed it and eventually my whole family had read them both.
Maximum Ride came out and I rushed out to buy it thinking it was part 3 of the series, but instead Patterson has shat all over it by rebooting the whole thing as a children's story! I still have the book somewhere, its completely void of any sort of convincing and exciting reading, instead replaced with an MTV style monologue of Max's super cool life with her super cool abilities.
Fair play to you that you enjoy it, I am not saying you shouldn't. But if you genuinely like this series I definitely suggest you read the original two as they were far better.

15 years, 7 months ago at Oct 10 1:13 - I have heard of the books you mentioned, but Maximum ride was inspired by those and have nothing to do with those books and he made them for teen audences to read. I really love them. If you havent read the whole series they are very well put together.
and my mom showed me when the wind blows but im to busy with MR so my friend is reading it and is going to tell me if its good or not. and when i read the back of when the wind blows, it seemed like something that wasnt what i would be interested in or that it had anything to do with the Max thats in maximum ride. but like i said i have read nither of the two origanal books therefor i do not know much about them.
but Maximum Ride i think is one of the best series of books that i have ever read in fact. The stroy line is very well put together and hes mixed in every knid of emotion there is into the books. theres romance, anger, suspense, sadness, everything! and to me thats what makes them so exciting. so if you havent read the whole series, i highly reacomend that you do!:)
