I was wondering if I could make a SINGLE thread where people can take the time to develop characters, this would be very helpful for some of us like me, who weave characters at the drop of a hat... just one thread for developing characters(or filing them in an easy to access area), no RPing at all, just until we get a Creative Corner
I am not demanding one that would be... troublesome, just asking but being a little aggressive about it(For once rofl)

Character 1, Character 2 and Character 3
EDIT Character 4
EDIT2 Character 5
or if you thought of them on the same day:
Character 1, 2 and 3
EDIT Character 4 and 5
Character 1, Character 2 and Character 3
EDIT Character 4
EDIT2 Character 5
or if you thought of them on the same day:
Character 1, 2 and 3

16 years, 1 month ago at Apr 12 6:23 - Nah, I haven't on too large a scale. I played a rather random character at Atari known as "The playa". The playa had very little to do with the set story and I never really followed the full fabric of the rules - though this was some strict RPing, and I'd still be way better off than the bulk of Naruts. Eventually a member or two got tired of him, not everyone, albeit he was a character they could beat the hell out of as much as they liked and one that never imposed upon the story, so I had him OD on rocks and that was the last anyone ever heard of him.

Honestly, though I always thought it was more fun reading their rp threads then actually playing in them. But thats only if they're worth reading.

16 years, 1 month ago at Apr 12 7:05 - last time I checked at a forum that rp'd there was usually one or two stickied threads where everybody's character bios were up. depending on how many rp's were running. I suppose not everyone follows the same rules.

What you're asking for, Wappa, is very good. Oftentimes an RP thread will end abruptly in order to start another. Why? Because people don't know exactly how to use their character and mess up the story's flow by making up things about said character on the spot. Not necessarily their fault, which is why a character planning thread works wonders.
Have some survey-esque questions in there. Going on bzoink.com or somewhere - silly, I know - and taking a few surveys before participating in an RP thread can help someone decide what their character's personality is like. The fact that taking a survey for this purpose also requires putting oneself in their character's shoes makes it less like pre-planning and more like practice.

16 years, 1 month ago at Apr 12 15:53 - I am still waiting for Prelude's word, I can do it in Microsoft, but my computer has been very... odd lately, sometimes it deletes documents that I make within the last few days. and the amount of editing I do on characters... that would be about 8 pages of work gone for one character...
(I do situational RP samples, Personality tests(Put into links so people can see them) pictures(also in links) physcial descriptions, clothing descriptions, importance to the plot, weapons and powers and there descriptions and uses. Supplies and stuff. Any pet he/she may have, as well as companions. theproblems, rivalries, inner rivalries and conflicts and the obstacles that come in the characters path, as well as the characters flaws and strengths, what changes in thoseflaws and strengths and all of that junk

I used four different virus scans rofl none of them found anything. so Either this is one damn good virus, or Vista is a piece of shit(Really, is there any question here? its obvious Vista is a piece of shit! so much for the 'game computer' pssh, this thing is a sad excuse for an 'ANYTHING' computer
