Well first, you can't be emo it's a style of clothing not a personality. Also emo is short for emotional so I don't know who made emo stand for what it stands for now. Second, now-a-days type of emo doesn't mean suicide, cutting yourself, or feeling sad when you see that in a person that calls themself an "emo" then they are a poser. I know people who are true emo people and they aren't sad all the time, thinking of suicide, or cutting themsevles. They are quite happy/sad at the same time. Don't only wear all black, they wear dark colors. And third, every single person on Listal is what emos they call them a "poser emo".

Also gothic is different from emo but are pretty close. Gothic is the style that wears all black.
