How many movies before a favorite!

I have a question, how many performances do you need to see from an actor to call them a favorite, and what does it take for you to like them? It usually takes me 3-4 movies. I usually look for force, like are they trying to force the acting or are they trying to get you to buy that they an actually person instead of "hey he's acting"

3-4 movies sounds pretty good in my book. Sometimes (very rarely) one performance does it for me. They need to really impress me, like you said, need to be really natural in their role. I guess, it really depends on the person.

Yeah like Al Pacino really impressed me within 2 movies.
