how do u set a background 4 your own profile?

here lately i have been checking random people profile and they have a picture of some sort on their background, how can u do that?

a simple forum search would have helped you, although i have to admit that a FAQ for new users is sorely needed.

here it goes (composed by Thilian, originally with screenshots, which unfortunately aren't available any more):

1) Copy the URL of the image desired.

2) In Edit layout, paste the link under the text Url : (Leave blank to use color as background). You may sort through additional options, such as Repeating, which displays images in tile format rather than on their own. Click on the button that says Save changes.

3) Check out your profile. Notice anything different?
