Sometimes you are watching a standard movie and all of a sudden they pull a scary, disturbing or horrofying scene on you and its more effective than in a horror movie

Leon (sorry Nikita The Assassin) - the stabbing a pencil through someone's hand

Fire In The Sky - the 12 minutes or so at the end showing alien probing is damn creepy
