Yes I think that's the idea. To discuss Python and Python related stuff and as you put it admiration. Hopefully not just an endless stream of quotes ;)

I rarely ever check for new groups, only for the topics posted within them. I'm a Python fan and would happily join and discuss, once there is something to discuss of course.

And for the people who just want to quote, how about just a thread for them? :P
