HELP FINDING A FILM

Hi there,

I am getting crazy trying to find out the name of a movie I have seen several times when I was in college so any help will be appreciated.

It starts when a man hits the car of a blonde cheerleader and when sending it to repair he includes a new car stereo. Then he starts to date this young lady whom soon gets in love with him but lately she discovers that he is a married man and for some reason she goes to the house to meet the wife. Then she starts to receive some threats and even gets her car crushed over a cliff but she saves her life, at the end of the film it is known that the one trying to kill her turned out to be another girl from the school whom had earlier an affair with this man. At the end of themovie you see the man searcing for a new girl to get an affair with.

It is not much, but probably someone gets it, I am sad I can not tell any of the actors so that is why it is so difficult to me to find out the movie. My wife was thinking it was starring Vincent Spano but he is not. It is a thriller from late 80's or 90's, maybe it was a TV movie...

Any help regarding the actors or the title will be great!!!
