Header test

I'm thinking about changing the header to this example :

www.listal.com/listal/images/headertest/

Reasoning :

- Room to add actors, artists, authors, directors, video, photos
- Room to add additional categories in the future
- Direct links to explore different areas
- More consistent navigation from logged in and logged out state (currently if your logged out the movies tab links to the explore movies, if your logged in it links to YOUR movies)
- Simplifies the navigation by moving the top links down to the tabs
- People can find their profile easily.
- With current system entire tabs are taken up with things some people may not be interested in

Most of the main areas will be redesigned also soon e.g. explore movies, members section, friends section, videos section etc..

btw the menu links don't work or are wrong, it's just test in html

Can we have a 'Vehicles' tab? Please!

Great stuff Tom, seriously. I haven't been on here long but I already appreciate that difference and it also seems to look neater... Or maybe that's just me

I was wondering if you could possibly switch 'My Stuff' and 'Explore'. It would make the 'My Stuff' tab easier to get to.

i like the new header, but flipping 'My Stuff' with 'Explore' might be good suggestion.

also, can you add a few milliseconds delay for the menu to appear? maybe 1/2 or a 1/4 of a second. right now, its instant, and if you move mouse along, even at high speed, say moving mouse up to your address bar in your browser, it opens up the menu. It's a quite distracting if that keeps happening all the time.

Which list categories would you have for Vehicles? Maybe just 'i like this'?

Im not sure about a delay for the menus it could be annoying having to wait for it to appear.

I think a delay would drive some people mental including myself.

How about just an 'other' tab?

just enough of delay that if you move your mouse AT HIGH SPEED across the image, it doesnt trigger it. I'm talking in the milisecond range. nobody would notice it, it would still appear near instant, but if you move your mouse over real quick, it wont get triggered accidentally. because that is making ME mental. LoL

I meant what kind of list types would be appropriate for new categories because obvously 'owned' and 'wanted' are not good for vehicles for example.

I think it would be better to add proper categories for things rather than just lumping everything into other.
