Harvest Moon.

Is anyone here a fan of the Harvest Moon series? I'm really addicted to the series. It started a few years ago on my Playstation when my Mom picked up Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. She thought it looked fun to play, but she didn't like it afterwords, so she gave it to me. I was hooked!

I had the third Harvest Moon game for the GBC, but atlas it was stolen from me in HS and I never got it back. It's like now $30-$100 dollars if you can find it. Though you could find it cheaper if you looked.

Now in my collection I have Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for GBA and Harvest Moon: It's a wonderful Life and Harvest Moon: It's another wonderful life on Gamecube.

I can't wait for Harvest Moon: Magical Melody though! It comes out @ the end of March.

I love frikin LOVE the harvest moon series. I started with the N64 version, which i played for a number of years. I don't remember which number in the series they were, but i also played a bunch of the game boy versions as well.

Awesome! I never got to play the N64 version. I heard that the HM: Back to Nature one for Playstation was just like it? But I'm not sure.

They had three HM games for GBC. They're all rare now though. The new ones for GBA are cool. They're like the Back To Nature game.

Is that an RPG? I'm always looking for new (really freakin good) RPG's...

Of course I love FFX and X-2 (which was good, but not great imho), and then there's the RPG-ish games like Dark Cloud 2 and we know we all love Kingdom Hearts. I do have Ys, and Xenosaga neither of which I've played, and Tales of Symphonia which I played for about 10 minutes... of course you can see this on my list, but just wondered if they would be worth getting involved in. Anyone?

Plus I do have some in my wanted area, any recommendations as to where I should head first? Thanks gang.

Harvest Moon is mostly simulation. It revolves around a farm. Each game usually has the same plot or one that's a bit different.

You inherit a farm in a small villiage and you get to do a lot of different things like growing and selling crops for money, taking care of farm animals like cows, sheep, goats. You even have your own dog on the farm and in some games a cat as well.

You can also get married and have a kid and get to know the villagers and help them out if they need it.

It's really fun. Sometimes after a while it'll get boring, but it's an interesting series. :)
