I haven't tried it but I saw it used on Good Morning America this morning. It looks amazing.

I tried it. It looks neat, though very confusing to navigate (couldnt find the big dipper to save my life!)

Google Earth scares me a little bit. When I was staying at my brother's friend's house, his dad showed it to me. Creeped the Capote outta me...

Yeah. That's why I don't use Google Earth. That and something else. I mean, I've been taking Driver's Ed recently, and I've passed it and everything. It's just that physical freedom isn't an interest of mine. Whether clearing open road or soaring through a projection of the planet, it's not quite so important to me.

It still freaks the bloody who's who outta me, though. :(

I love using it to find address. I'm bad at directions, even if I print them off, but seeing the area from satellite viewpoint allows me to visualize where to go so much better, by going by landmarks and buildings in the area.

That, and exploring places around the world is awesome with Google Earth. Seeing the slums of Port-au-Prince in Tahiti, seeing the massive construction projects in Dubai, and seeing jungle villages in Thailand, its all so amazing.
