A very nice project you've set up here -- I hadn't actually put my collection on my computer before now, but was planning to do so, so this came along at a good time. I've entered a couple of hundred titles so far, and will carry on when I have some more spare time.
Nice and easy to use, and above all, very quick!

Thanks :)
My primary aims with the site were to make it fast and easy to use.

Finally I don't need to make that list myself anymore in Access ;)
Thanks Scan :)
Now I would only need a chance to get GERMAN items into the list :p

I agree! I have been looking and looking for a service that combined all types of media instead of just books or just DVDs. Great, great job. Thank you!

I was just thinking about starting a thread like this!
Currently, since I run a entertainment site, I am developing something simular at least until I saw this on Digg.com and USA Today. This is way better than what I was thinking of and WAAAAY beyond what I wanted to do anyway (I am using an open source database for my project).
I'm thinking redirecting my users here instead of developing my own database (of which will save time for other things I want to do).
!!!!!)
A good idea fo Listal: Make a good API system so that website (like mine) can use your services while it looks like its still on the owners site. For example I own website 'A' and I want them to have a database collection area like iMDB. All I have to do is come here and walla!!! My users (depending on the agreement) won't know I use Listal
That is something I would pay for.

An api system is planned, I am not sure about websites using it as you suggest though.

Dang it!
Well, at least the API thing is good. Widgets and gagdtes from Konfabulator, Mac, Microsoft Gadgets and DesktopX can be made using those API's.
