Good anime shows?

Does anyone know any good anime shows out there? Besides the obvious ones that everyone seems to love. If so please describe it.
Meaning, Naruto, Bleach, Black Cat, etc. If its popular, i don't wanna hear about it.

D-Gray Man- You've probably heard of this one, it's about 'exorcists' and akuma, actually kinda interesting
Gantz-when you die you get trapped in this video game, you carry out your normal lives, until it beams you back to the game room, where youget sent on missions to kill 'aliens' EXTREMELY Gorey for an anime, a little bit of X areas, not for the faint of heart :P
Wolf's Rain- Wolf's who put the illusion of being human on them and search for paradise
Shingetsutan Tsukihime(or something like that) a show about Vampires :D
Trinity Blood- More vmpires!
Chrno Crusade- A nun excorcisty thing with demons, the main character is ademon (Ironic :D)
Hellsing- Vampires and ghouls, yay
Zombie Loan- 2 zombies who carry out orders that keep them alive, both of their hands are cut off and attached to the other person, when they switch hands back to their trues owners they can use their weapons, a katana and a handgun
Fate Stay Night- Pretty cool, a little confusing, not much, basically the mythical legends of our times are summoned in different forms and controlled by their masters under names (EX: Hercules and others like him)

Well i've heard and loved Wolf's Rain. Trinity blood is also pretty good. Reading that one now. But the other ones i haven't heard of. Are there manags for them?

Gantz manga is better than the anime, or atleast its still continuing.
Tsukihime anime sucks monkey nuts. Play the game or read the manga if you can find em.

Haha. Flcl is great. I haven't much about most of those. I only know about Flcl. Are those all like comedy genred anime?

Just Fumoffu is a real comedy. Its brilliant slapstick. The rest are pretty serious business

Okay, seriously. I just watched Freedom. Man, that anime rocks. Too bad its $40 dollars a disc. Hopefully the price comes down as a box set.

I've always wanted to see Captain Tylor but it is notoriously hard to find.

even though they differ in significant parts from the manga, i still recommend "Berserk" and "Trigun". they are good animes series on their own. or were, as they are finished already.

Ok, saying im not manly isn't cool. You don't even knowbut thanks for all your input guys. I'll be sure to check out a...most of them. I have seen quite a few of these series though and i agree with most of you on whether or not there good. Like trigun was an amazing series.

-elfen lied - pretty explicit, but a really good story
-cowboy bebop
-the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya - the episodes are in a weird order, but that makes it more interesting.. it kind of reminded me of the movie, the nines, where the guy turned out to be God in the end.. which is pretty much the basis of the story.. and it isn't that serious
-death note was pretty interesting
-berserk was really good, but i think it was used as an advertisement for the manga, so you're left at the end really confused and wondering if that's really the end.. it's really corny tho

Samurai Champloo, Death Note and Cowboy Bebop i have seen and loved. Death Note was only good till the 25th episode in my opinion. THe episode where L dies. After that, it all goes down hill.

Soylent Green? Is that an anime or something? I've never ehard of that. Why do you have a picture of Freddy?!

I really liked Boogiepop Phantom. It's terribly confusing, but that's the way I like my anime. Atleast it was until I read a wiki, and then I read the books which it is partially based on. I say partially because its not so much retelling whats in the books as it is telling a different side of the story. It all starts to make sense until Boogiepop at Dawn, but if you're still following along by then, you're not going to stop reading.

Tsukikage Ran- another fairly underwatched sereis that deserves a look. More comedy than anything else.
Jubei-chan 2 - only saw the first four episodes of the first series, but based on that alone I watched the this and thought it wasn't as comedic, but that does't necessarily make it a bad thing.

Full Metal Panic (All 3 Versions, it's actually quite interesting. Season 1 is a perfect mixture of Action,Drama, and Comedy, the OVA is ALL Comedy, then Season 2 is all drama.)

Whatever you do, skip Fate/Stay Night. The anime sucks. I'm stuck at episode 19 because I can't seem to finish it since its so bad. And the only reason I've gotten so far is because I had reached the halfway point before I could no longer bear it. Frankly the coolest thing about it is that Archer is Shirou's future-self, and the game goes further into that.
