Golden Globe nominations announcement

So what do you think about next year's Golden Globe nominees? I'm, honestly, surprised by the many nominations Salmon Fishing in the Yemen got (not because it's a bad movie or anything - i didn't even saw it - I just didn't thought it's "Golden-globe-material"). The rest I was expecting. Upset because Skyfall got only one nomination and extremely angry because The Dark Knight Rises didn't get any nomination!

I did see Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and I'm also surprised by its multiple nominations... because it was a pretty lousy movie. Bernie, Hysteria, To Rome with Love, Ruby Sparks, Safety Not Guaranteed, and Damsels in Distress would've all been more worthy picks. Hell, even The Dictator and Dark Shadows had more to offer.
I guess I'm just shocked that Bernie didn't get it- Jack Black got an Actor nom, so clearly the movie was on their radar. They just inexplicably went with the largely inferior of the two.
But the other biggest surprise for me is a happy one. I'm shocked that Nicole Kidman was recognized for her work in the extremely under-seen, but quite good The Paperboy.
Finally, the nomination for Hotel Transylvania rather than ParaNorman strikes me as a pretty unfortunate error.
