Glitch with lists...

I've noticed if I make a list that contains both movies and TV movies (or tv shows) the TV movies don't factor into the stats at all. For example an actor could have 10 films on the list and the list will state that there are ten items. However, when it lists the number (or %) of films on the list I've seen they are excluded completely.

Here's an example.

www.listal.com/list/johnny-cash

This is a list of films Johnny Cash has starred in that I either have seen or want to see. It's a list of 8 movies, none of which I have seen. All 8 movies are on my list as "want to watch." 5 are TV movies and 3 were theatrically released. The stats to the left state "You have watched none of the Movies from this list and want to watch 3."

Also, the view unlisted feature also seems to be very glitchy. If someone posts a list of the 100 greatest horror films of all time and 97 of them are on my watched or "want to watch" list a lot of the time it will yield no results even though there are 3 completely unlisted.

Tom, glad to hear you're planning some new changes around Christmas time. Definitely encouraging news since I was starting to think the opposite and that maybe Listal's days were close to an end. Having said that, this has still remained an issue for the past two months so I was hoping this could still be resolved in the near future.

The stats only works with one category and since the other 3 movies are in the tv section they won't be included, so I guess the real problem here is that they are not in the movies section.

The next version of the site will deal better with multiple categories in a list, in fact you will be able to put items on any category in a list (e.g. movies, books, tv games etc. can all share the same list)
