Georgian flag

I'll make sure someone who knows more about this sort of thing looks into it; I'm just not that familiar with this sort of thing. My apologies for not replying earier.

@Sunmartian Sorry, I don't know the answer but I bleive I might know a little about why the flag images haven't been changed yet or at least it isn't as simple as "Hay here is an image use this".

This actually something only Tom can answer and tell you when and if he plans on changing. I suspect he might, there are a few countries currently that have NO flag on Listal so it isn't surprising that after all this time one of the flags has changed.

The flag images, were images that Tom bought or bought a license to use. So, there is sort of a 'were to get the image license from' issue.

As far as I know the flag images haven't been changed since the site was created as it is better to handle these things in bulk and buy all new flags at one time.... which is costly.

Listal can not use most of the images that you or I might use that are Licence-Free because most of those images actually have a clause that you can not use the image if you yourself are not a company or run a site that sell/advertises products. Which Listal actually does do and generates a little revenue for the site to keep the site going.

(For example the flag images I use to put on lists and don't mind if other people use, are images that I use according to the rules of the person who created them and while some of the flags are actually images I myself created... Listal can't not use the images without license)

While we would love to believe that a member could give us a free image that we could use. The chances of that member suing Listal because we did something 'mean' and that member 'changed their mind' or some other entity suing the site prevents Listal from using anything that it has actually not bought a license for and because has a license can feel safe from legal maters.

So, that is sort of what I remember from several years ago when flag images were brought up and Tom mentioned where he bought the all the icons for the site.... I can't find the thread now :/

SO... in the end... my final answer that I know to be %100 true is... Only Tom can answer this and I'm sure he might if you give him some time.

From what I remember the flag images are public domain, I've updated the Georgian flag image.

OMG, I remember that it now as a question about flag icons but the icons on the tabs. I still can't find the thread, pretty sure it was a thread that was posted a few years before I joined.

OK, sorry about being pretty much being completely wrong on the matter. Well, expect that only Tom could answer this question :P

I noticed that Serbia doesn't have a flag.
