Hey.
After digging up some old GBA games, I've found out that some of them won't save any longer. It works fine while playing, but after turning off and on again, the file is gone.
Is there any solution to this? Or is it likely to stay like that forever and ever?

You'll have to replace the battery inside the cartridge. There's a bunch of videos on how to do it here:

Any save files you had before the battery died are gone and can't be recovered, though.

To be honest replacing the battery isn't too complicated. At the very least I'd be thankful they crated these games so this could even be done.
