what games have you pre-ordered lately?

Lately I've been trying to keep track on games that I miss out on most of the time that were a hit, so now I decided on getting three games that seem more excrutiating to the eye.
I chose to get Gears of War 3 Epic edition(obvious), Dead Island, and Battlefield 3. I gave it a long thought, so thats what I chose so far.

maybe someone can help others make a decision on what to get.

Are you getting them for console or PC?

I need to pre-order Assassin's Creed Revelations and probably Batman Arkham Asylum but then I'll be broke once again...Well AC is the most important though.

The last game I pre-ordered was assassin's creed 2. (I haven't been played in awhile)

I actually per-ordered dead island and battlefield 3 for Xbox and PS3, I did that just to see which is better on what system.
Now I just recently per-ordered Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City SE for Xbox rather than PS3. Because my PS3 has run out of memory space.That sucker is over 5 years old and still going, surprisingly my Xbox is also over 5 years old and still kicking.

I rarely pre-order stuff...But I wanted the Vita early, so I pre-ordered the first edition bundle and Uncharted: Golden Abyss to go along with it.

Diablo 3 with the 1 year WOW subscription.

As I stated 6 months ago, I'm not a big pre-order guy. Most "big" titles don't need a pre-order because most stores get plenty of copies for everyone. But, two games coming out this year are being put out in very limited quantities...So, as a collector, I wanna grab 'em now 'cause their prices will likely only become higher the longer I wait....

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set (PS3) - A collector's set that includes four games, a few videos, a massive soundtrack collection, and various other goodies. The hefty price tag of $150 probably means that no pre-order is necessary, but to be on the safe side, I pre-ordered it anyway in hopes that the rarity of the set may increase its value over time, similar to Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - Limited Edition's price has more than quadrupled over the years.

Persona 4 Golden: Solid Gold Premium Edition (PSV) - It's the Persona 4: Golden game with a bunch of goodies. Details can be found in this advertisement emailed out to folks on the Atlus email list.

The hard case is something that I'd personally like, but the fact that only 10,000 are being made was enough to convince me to invest in a pre-order.

I pre-ordered the Kirby Dream Collection and soon I will pre-order Pokemon White 2 and Ni No Kuni for the steelbook.

The last game that I remember pre-ordering was Halo 2. It was a big deal for me. I got the Collector's Edition with the steel case and all. Sadly, that was the only perk. Horrible when I think about it.

I would really like to pre-order Hitman: Absolution for the Sniper Challenge. That is how pre-order items should be. Not some bullshit gold skins for your weapon.

Pre-ordered the Mists of Pandaria WOW expansion. Not so much because I need to, but my girl wants to have it ready at 12:00 am or whenever it goes live. She did the same thing with the Cata expansion.

Agreed on the weak pre-order perks. Especially if they charge two-tiers on pricing like they used to with collectors editions.... and it's a download. $10-$20 more for a few weapons or mounts or whatever is a little insulting.

As I mentioned about a month ago, I pre-ordered the Hitman: Absolution Sniper Challenge and it is worth every penny of the $5 that this requires. If you are a fan of any of the previous Hitman games, do yourself a favour and get this ASAP.

Pre-ordered Epic Mickey 2 at Game Stop because I wanted the Oswald ear hat. :D

Thinking of pre-ordering the Adventure Time Collector's Edition for the DS too.

The last game I pre-ordered was Worms Revolution, but I barely played it, not enough time and a bit laggy on my laptop.

I felt like making sure a bunch of upcoming titles arrived at my door shortly after release, so I pre-ordered the following games on Amazon.com.

I'm also in line to get Deadly Premonition for the PS3. Just one more month. Actually, I want to play Pandora's Tower, too. I didn't realize that was up for pre-order now.
