Got a ton of Amazon gift cards plus with the ones I have before acouple days ago. Now I hope the three will be fine in the mail with no problems.

Bought Dragonball Z: Attack of the Saiyans for DS and Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy on PS3.

The DBZ game is actually quite great, fun RPG with nice mechanics and animations in combat (turn-based combat tho)

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition and RAGE for Playstation 3. The former is amazing. I am embarassed how long it took me to play it! The latter on the ohter hand, isn't necessarily a bad game, it may have been just a little overhyped for me. Still a good purchase for under $20.

Hopefully, next purchase will be Mafia II Greatest Hits.

I recently purchased Hitman: Absolution and Mafia II Greatest Hits. I am pleased fully with both of these purchases. Sure, Hitman: Absolution has a few issues, but overall I am glad to see the "Original Assassin" back after a seven year hiatus.

This is what I bought at the weekend

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - I ended up trading in some games I didn't like for it. I'm not even into RPG's as much as I used to be however I'm loving this game. I think Mr Drippy is fantastic.

F1 Race Stars - Since the priced dropped here for it in the UK I thought I'd pick it up since I like Kart Racing games. It's not bad some of the tracks are creative I just didn't think it was as good as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed or LittleBigPlanet Karting.

Dragon's Dogma - I only picked it up since it was £5 in Asda's Pre-Owned section which I thought was a bargain considering it still retails around £20 to £15. I haven't played it yet.

Sports Champions 2 which I got for £10 the cover is missing but it came with the instructions it's the cheapest I've seen it. I think it's better then the first game.

WonderBook: Book of Spells which I got for £9.99 new it's the standard pack with the book and the game. I thought it was worth getting for the price

Just got Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga from Gamestop. Can't wait to play Nocturne.

Picked up my Tomb Raider Collector's Edition from GameStop. So glad I got the CE. The Lara figure has amazing detail.

I just bought an oldie called Tokyo Insect Zoo on the PS1 which is a really charming and fucking weird game. You play as a little boy who is half-beetle and you wander around with your bug friends through grass and stuff. You also fly through the cosmos at night and sometimes land on other worlds...

Segare Ijiri (PS1) . Wow. If you like LSD (the PSone game) then you will LOVE this game. Here's my attempt at a description: it's a vomit of color on the screen platformer where you have to make a giraffe's neck grow so you can play bizarre Japanese word games together and open more levels. ??? yes. Also, everyone is pooping.

BTW astro_man23, how are the controls for Segare Ijiri and Tokyo Insect Zoo?


Anyway, I went to a flea market for the first time and got these:

Tokyo Insect Zoo has first-person exploration D-PAD controls with anime-style cutscenes whenever you interact with characters. You control what your character says during these cartoon sequences by using one of the four shoulder buttons. The first-person control isn't the best, but it's not completely shit.

Segare Ijiri is a 3D side-scrolling platformer, pretty fluid controls. I shouldn't say "side-scrolling" because you can move backwards, forwards, up and down through various "rooms." The manual for this game is just a map of the house. There are also lots of interspersed random video clips and cutaways.

Okay thanks. I have to check these two out when going online shopping later on.

(I saw the Angry Joe review for this and became interested. I'm glad I didn't pay the original retail on this thing... he gave it a 6/10 and I'd have to agree. It had potential but doesn't quite pony up.)

I got "Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra". Can't wait to see the finale of the Xenosaga series.

I need to play that as well... everyone tells me Xenosaga III is the game the first two games wanted to be.

Also, I hope the censorship issues don't really detract too much from the game... kind of wish they weren't aiming for a T rating abroad with these games.

From what I gather, they only censored one shower scene and any other scene that involves blood which is odd since the first Xenosaga had no problem with blood when its not a scene with Albedo.
