LoginFriends signed up via signup link?

16 years, 5 months ago at Nov 16 12:00 - I have noticed that many of the people above my score in the rankings, have managed to get there without listing a single book, adding any tags, ratings or pictures, or participating in any way other than receiving 200 points a time for adding friends via a signup link.
How do they do this? How do they persuade so many people to sign up? And where is this link anyway?

16 years, 5 months ago at Nov 16 14:30 - Click on the Friends tab & then on the left there is a link 'Add Friends'. Click on this & you will find your own sign-up link.

16 years, 5 months ago at Nov 16 23:34 - Sickthings, it's similar to those who post hundreds of videos and pictures on their profile and gain massive amounts of points for that instead of actually contributing to the site.
I'll never understand it; this is such a great and fun site when you actually do what's intended!
