Do you think Listal more benefit from a more robust forum system? Even just installing VBulletin or PhpBB. I miss the search functions, stickies, etc. Plus something like a search function would help us find answers to our questions and keep us from starting threads of questions that have already been addressed. Stickies would let us know what's on your to-do list so we don't keep asking about them. Actually, I almost see a forum like that to be very helpful as the site grows and more members flood into the forums.

Yeah, forums work well for something like this. It'd be cool to have a forum. I have a horror forum provided by Boardnation.com. They offer free forums provided by SMF. It's been awhile since I last checked, but I think they have free forums with only a couple of ads. No popup ads though.
Proboards is also cool, if you're looking for something easy and free.

I have used VBulletin in the past but find it to be bloated and hard to configure, I would have to hack it to pieces to do what I want with it.
A search function can be added pretty easily and I put my todo list on the main group page.

RSS on the forum threads won't hurt either...

I thought about how an existant forum service would be a good addition to the site... but then I looked at all the spambots that have been floating about lately on forums and this system seems a more efficient way of keeping them away (for a time at least).
Keeping with this forum (but making some improvements along the way) is good in a way because it adds originality to the site. :)
