"Follow" not working

I don't know if it's happening only with me, but I can't "follow" other users anymore and also can't be followed. I keep following the ones I used to, but if I try to follow a new user I can't, the updates don't show on my page. And an user told me he was having the same problem: he was trying to follow me, but when he clicks "follow" and "follow selected areas" nothing happens and he can't see my feed on his "initial" page.
