Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, Crisis Core

Has anybody played and finished all 3 games. I've finished 8 and only a bit of 7 which i'm gonna have to get oh and i can't wait for Crisis Core.

You should get and play FFVII. It is a must!

In fact, everyone should play the PSX Final Fantasy's. The sequels and spin-offs are always watered down from the titans of before.

FF is my favorite game series, looking forward to Crisis Core.
Played and beat 7,8,9 but must say I hated the story line of 8. Too... silly is some ways- sorceress from the future, all from the same orphanage but don't remember, sorceress was the matron.....and so on....

I'm really excited about Crisis Core and can't wait to fight sephiroth with zack

Crisis Core though, is just so freakin' awesome, words can't explain it.

Do you actually believe that souping up the graphics for a Momentous Game an make it any better? You are all completely shallow.

And you're always stuck up your own ass. Get over yourself, it's just a game for christ sake. I can like the game for what it is, regardless of it's relation to the 'Momentous' predecessor. I want to play it because it looks like the first decent original PSP RPG, not just because it's FF7 related.
And comparing it to the reissued/remastered Star Wars and E.T. is completely in accurate, the Star War prequals would have been a better example.

I was referring to the horrific yet inevitable Final Fantasy VII remake! The story is going to get diluted and changed for continuity with the new spin-offs and 'quels.

Yes, I was right about the Star Wars/E.T. comparison. All 4 of those films were fine how they were until Lucas & Spielberg 'updated' them. Selling the films soul to make more money.

According to an article I read about the FF7 Compilation, they are fuelling it with enough funds to get keep it going for another decade (2017). After the release of CC in Japan, "And the best is yet to come!" Since everyone is so unoriginal now, it cries wolf that a remake is in order. Also, the secret ending of DoC leaves it quite open ended to carry on 'the story'.

When children grow up they/their parents tend to buy them the latest games out. For example, the release of Crisis Core coincides with a young kids Birthday. His parents buy it for him. He gets interested in the story and believes that its story is more valid than the original!

So therefore they will grow up thinking that AC, BC, CC and DC are what really matter and not Final Fantasy VII.

So instead of a remake, should they reissue FF7 every 5-10 yrs? It can be hard to find a copy for a new player, at least one that doesn't cost $70.
It is a shame some kids are never introduced to such a great game....
