Fictional Characters website link

When creating fictional characters today from Wikipedia links, the website link only occasionally shows the page it came from (that which was pasted into the search). Most of the fictional characters' website links are just showing as an invalid "characters" link.

Is there a way to manually put the correct website link into the correct section for the characters?

Do you remember any differences between the way you added items which have the incorrect link to the ones that have the correct link so I can fix this problem?

I just pasted the link from the wikipedia page or other character page the same as the others, it seemed pretty random as to whether it included the link or not.

An example is the Naruto characters I added, I found the character links through the page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Naruto_characters
For Naruto's character the page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naruto_Uzumaki was pasted into the search and in his character profile it shows the link. However I did the same for the other characters such as Sakura en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sakura_Haruno which I pasted and added just the same, however this shows the link as "Characters" which shows up as invalid when clicked.

Update 1 - I just repasted en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sakura_Haruno to test and it has come up with create a new character again and this time has included the correct link.

(The old one is now www.listal.com/character/sakura-haruno which needs deleting).

So it seems sometimes it recognises the link sometimes it does not even though it does recognise the name and pictures regardless.

I think there will have to be a load of characters re-created and old ones deleted to avoid replicas being pasted in in the future, unless there is a way to have the original website links linked to them like they should.

Update 2 - I just re-pasted en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasuke_Uchiha into the search, again it showed as create post again, only this time it only showed the "Characters" link like the old one. I have named this as "please delete" www.listal.com/character/sasuke-uchiha-1407

So it really shows sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I have fixed this bug now, the problem happened when items were added when anything other than all in search was selected.

Is there any way to add the website links to the characters currently without the link and associate it with those characters if the original wikipedia character link is pasted into the search, like it does for the ones which do have the link correctly working?

At the moment the characters with the incorrect "characters" invalid link will and are being duplicated in the characters section.

I'm a bit dubious about deleting and redoing a load of characters, particularly when they already have ratings on them. So it will be much better if there is a way I could add the correct link in for them.

I think Listal should ask "Are you sure?" when the new character name is the same as an existent one, even when web links differ, or we'll end up with countless duplicates.

That would be a good idea, as I noticed that there are duplicate characters being created even when the correct website link was in the original, as the duplicates have been created via some other website/page.

e.g. www.listal.com/character/frodo-baggins (original)
www.listal.com/character/frodo-baggins-1597 (duplicate)
