I know it's a tad early as Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived yet (for those of us in the States), but what is everyone's favourite Christmas album? It doesn't necessarily have to be something traditional.
Mine is A John Waters Christmas. Brilliant compilation of songs hand-picked by John Waters himself. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Tiny Tim and "Santa Claus Is a Black Man" by AKIM & The Teddy Vann Production Company are two of my favourite tracks. I got it a few years ago from a friend of mine, and I put it on around the holidays every year. I highly suggest it to those with a non-traditional attitude toward Christmas.

Christmas with Nat and Dean!!....I cannot have Christmas time without it! It is the highlight of the season.

Its got all the old school Christmas songs, crooned to perfection. I just love it. If I had to give a second, it would be Mariah Carey's Christmas album.
I love that Americans have a festival giving thanks to the native-anglo relationship, and we have a party in which we burn an effigy of a catholic who tried to bomb our King. God bless England.

My early childhood Christmas memories are accompanied by the sounds of Jose Mari Chan.

Do I have terrible taste in music? Yes. Yes I do.
Nowadays I'll just pop in some of them Vienna Boys Choir stuff and I'm all set.

I'm incredibly fond of The Edge of Christmas, which includes David Bowie and Bing Crosby singing "Little Drummer Boy."

I really like A Charlie Brown Christmas. It's the soundtrack to the 1960's CBS Peanuts special of the same name. I know what you're thinking: kitsch. Actually, though, all but a couple of songs are Christmas standards (O Tannenbaum, What Child Is This, Fur Elise, Greensleeves, etc) played in a jazz trio format by the awesome Vince Guaraldi Trio. It's a beautiful Christmas record and and swinging 60's jazz record.
