I quite like the odd song from a lot of 80's bands, but my favourite bands from the era have to be:

The Cure
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Queen

I can never pick just one favourite in anything. :P

My favorite '80's band' (hearing that makes me think of hairbands & crappy pop groups) would have to be The Smiths.

They are all Horrible.

Maybe Missing Persons, The Bangles or Men Witout Hats. Or Men at Work. Or Sandii and the Sunsetz or Nena. I don't know. There is a lot.
