Export to Excel

Are there any plans to allow exporting to excel?
Thanks
Thanks

I'd prefer a syncing function with Movie Collector program. That way, I can keep my collection offline too, on my hard drive, accesible even when I dont have internet connection.

Actually, Excel handles the xml pretty well (Excel 2002,at least). There's a fair amount of what could be considered extraneous material, but you could write a macro easily enough to parse out the 'good bits'

coyoteblue, if you ever do write up a macro for excel, can you share it with us? I know almost next to nothing when it comes to programming. There's also a couple of shareware programs called XMLFox and XML Convert (from same company) that can convert XML into Excel, and map out all the categories and tags accordingly, but those programs also need a bit of programmer's touch to get working properly.
