Erasing a Frank's account

Nykä 9 years, 3 months ago at Jan 28 22:10 -
Hi,

did now found a right place to tell this

did you notice that mine and maybe also yours friend Frank's Listal account was today removed, because of some an uncertain reasons? Some pretext was given about picture he did post of one Pasolini's film, which was not at least, of course, pornography as they did somehow mix that to it. They erase the whole account because of this and that he post a list of peoples toes.

Just telling all this, because hoping that someone else see this now more clear than I can. Frank's account was in some Listal standard at least in somehow an interesting or if not, I cannot real see, why they erase it, to point out: AN INTERESTING. it's more than a lot to say about Listal account.

It's a shame it was removed for this kind of a fucking retarded reasons. Now he told me that one reason for that was - they did told him somewhere - that he post a some pictures where a man is kissing a feet or something. Jesus! Let me laugh! Maybe they also ban a fucking bible for that the feet are now dangerous.

I think Frank, who even used his own name here, would like his account back. He told me that. Just sharing this here, because cutting out some account because of sharing a photo from Pasolini's movie sounds at nowadays... aw, I don't know where the hell we live here. Do you?

And to add here now: is it not or is it a totalitarianism to cut the possibilities to see something else than some - I don't even know what, anymore - celebrities arses etc. in Listal's lists. Frank did point to me just that nobody did force them, those moderators, who erase his account, or anybody else (I don't know who the hell they are anyway) to watch these list of his. There was some photos from Buñuel's and Pasolini's and Herzog's movies, for example. For sure, an unforgivable crime.

And also some picture of beach... he tells me now, was a reason for them to erase his account. Maybe you don't ever go to beach? Do you? Or if you do that and get any rule in real life, will ban also the beaches as there is a bodies of human beings there... lying... and also A NAKED INFANT!... and somebody... dares to swim!

What you companions think?

main reason for posting this here was that Frank did told me this just now and wants his account back and I want it too.

I remember browsing Frank's account at times and its content was by no means inappropriate for listal. It's true that a site's rules must be respected by its users. However, removing an account because of a screenshot with a man kissing some feet means that either the man with the banhammer or the user has misunderstood the policy of the site. In either case the user is never the one to blame - it is the administration's task to make sure that such misunderstandings simply won't happen, that the rules leave as little room for misinterpretations as possible.

Hopefully this case will be adressed appropriately, so that Frank gets to continue to use listal normally again and we others get to know if naked infants in Pasolini screenshots have truly become a no-no.

@O.J.
"Butt-naked children to be exact, but you are right anyway. I don't want that type of user, either. After a thorough consideration of what makes most of his uploads, like I said, and of his attitude on top of that, I've banned him."

I would like some clarification to this matter as well. And also I wonder what does O.J. mean when he talks about Frank`s attitude? I didn`t see anything wrong with his attitude in the other topic, he was just simply asking a question in a non-aggressive way.

Surely you mean "what does The O.P. mean when he talks about Frank`s attitude?"

The response you quote was directed to me, not spoken by me. My only issue was with the uploading of offensive material, something that was also mentioned by The O.P., to which I responded with 'if'.

Anyway, the account has completely gone now it would seem, so I think that's pretty much the end of that. This conversation is pretty pointless with a now non-existent account.

Just a few points to be clear.

Frank was banned because of the images he posted, which are not allowed by Listal rules. Not the odd pic like he seems to put it, but dozens of pics of the kinds that are not allowed. His main image posting interests actually seem to be sex scenes, violent sex, BDSM, foot fetish, some child nudity (nudes seen from behind). Then playing the victim of "evil moderators" on the forums.

@Nykä
You say it is "totalitarianism to cut the possibilities to see something else than..." etc. etc.
That might be true if Listal was the only existing web site on the net!
Just go any other site you like and you will find any kinds of images and videos you want.
However, Listal has its own policy, and I think that we, as users, should respect that. Listal image rules are clearly stated in the Help pages and have been pointed out already. Please do read them before posting. If you think some of the rules are not right, you can suggest how to change them, but as long as they stay, moderators' job is to enforce them. We are not perfect and we can make mistakes, but we try our best.

Now I see Frank's account has been deleted, but Moderators cannot erase accounts.
So I guess either Frank deleted it himself, or it was deleted by site Admin.

About some specific facts:

The fact that you can sometimes see a nude child on the beach does not mean you can post child nudity of any kind on the Internet.

The fact that some screenshots come from a film by Pasolini (some were from "Salò", if I remember correctly) does not mean that it's OK to post them on this site.
