When watching Sky Movies just before the movie is about to start an announcement is sometimes made advising that the film has flashing images, which may be unsuitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy.

Why is the same warning not put on DVD cases?

I'm not sure, but it is applied to videogames a lot.
