Entering items to "read"

I've just run across this. When entering a new item in books, if I can't find it by searching, I don't seem to have the option or ability to put it in "read" instead of "owned" or "wanted". If I use an ISBN to enter it, those are my only two options. I assume it's the same with "heard" in music and "played" in games...

I've added the add as read option and also move items between lists has been updated as well.

Looks like there's one more place it could/should be added: The listal item page has a button for "add to owned" and "add to wanted" but not one for "add to read" or "add to heard". That's less urgent, now that things can be moved between lists, but would be nice. :)

Oh..and I just went to check the "add" pages...and they all appear to be completely blank, now. I hope that's a temporary glitch! :)

Hm. I just tried adding a book using an ISBN (for some reason, the search is *not* finding all the versions, any more, and invariably if I want the hardback, it's only the paperback that shows up, and vice versa), directly to "read" - and it said it did it...but it hadn't. I had to add it to my collection, then select it and move it to read.

Don't know if the music/games ones are similarly broken or not.

Do you mean searching for the isbn using the search box?

I fixed the other problem adding the isbn direct to read.

No, I mean I was using the ISBN add function because the search by title hasn't been consistently finding all the versions of a book on amazon.com, for some reason. I don't know if this is new or not, but, let's see if I can find a "for instance"...and of course, now I can't. *sigh*. If I see it again, I'll post something specific. Thanks. :)
