Email alerts

I don't know what it is, but I keep getting multiple emails for one alert. The first one that I noticed was a few days ago and instead of the one alert I recieved nearly thirty! It has happened just a couple of times since, with smaller numbers, like today I got three instead of one.

Sounds strange, are they the same type of alerts? Might be worth waiting a few days to see if it keeps happening because I can't think of anything obvious that could cause that.

It was the simple "so and so has voted for you" email, and only one item shows up on my updates. Was strange, 'tis all. :)
