Editing DVD Region Bug

Phil 17 years, 5 months ago at Nov 9 22:19 -
A kind of minor but irritating one. Take the Region 2 edition of Pulp Fiction on DVD as my example - www.listal.com/dvd/pulp-fiction-4265.

If I edit the region out of the title so it displays "Pulp Fiction (Region 1)" rather than "Pulp Fiction [Region 2] (Region 1)", with the R1 bit in smaller characters, it's going to look like another R1 DVD, which this most certainly isn't. I'm sure it's most likely down to the fact that the AISN was originally taken from .com rather than .co.uk for some reason (probably .co.uk uses a different one for that item now or something).

Anyway, would it be possible to link the editable region field to the one that displays alongside the table so we can fix up some of the more obvious cases like this?

It is because it is a Region 2 DVD sold through amazon.com:

www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005LDBF/ref=nosim/priceclash-20

You should probably use this one:

www.listal.com/dvd/pulp-fiction-4265

Note the difference in links back to amazon.

That's the one I linked to originally. Presumably it's been fixed as asked :)

It is odd, it was not when I first used your link I was certain that it as different from what I saw but maybe it changed by the time I actually posted. Still, what I think the type of thing I think you are talking about can be seen here: www.listal.com/dvd/pulp-fiction-62606

Going through more of my DVDs - this is still a problem for a lot of them. I can't change the region of the item to 2 or 0 as appropriate, despite setting it on the page.
