Economic Crises

atcually the deppression won't be as bad like the old one, not unless things get to expensive.

I like how the middle classes (or those who think they're middle class but really aren't) always moan about how they're the worst hit in these sort of situations, whilst the poorest - and therefore *truly* the hardest done by - are often much more stoical and less self-pitying.

I'm 23 years old and barely understand how the economy works and what the implications are of this current financial crisis. Nor can I predict the future or shed light on why we got here in the first place. The one thing I do know is that this thread is the most abysmal 'debate' I've ever seen. I mean, good lord. Let's take a look at some of the gems:
Well thank you for that blistering insight, Desert Punk. You're 18, so obviously have a firm grasp on just how severe the 'last one[recession]' was, so I will take your advice as gospel. In fact, I might as well just get 'It wont be bad unless it will be' tattooed on my body somewhere, such is the intellectual value of such advice.
Another sterling contribution to the thread. Who cares if it has nothing to do with the economy whatsoever? I am struggling wholly to see how legalising same-sex marriage will destroy the economy, but I trust you Cali!
Oh the hilarity. Ventruss then goes on to suggest that we 'destroy' McDonalds and Walmart, because nothing will solve the economic crisis more than bankrupting the biggest money earners in the country and adding hundreds of thousands more people to the unemployment register. Ventruss for president! Wait, doesn't mental capacity decrease by the time you're 68+? Oh well, whatever your DS says man!
Mr. Booth, get out while you still can!

The one thing thats going to really effect our economy is the fact that Obama is trying to make it legal for gay marrige in all states. Not that i have a problem with gayy marrige its other people that will take things WAYY outta hand.

Well finally someone who adresses the real point. I have gotten tired of idiots trying to correct on things that they know nothing about then trying to make me look stupid in front of everyone. Im sorry don't mess with the fifteen yearold that has an IQ of one sixty eight or higher.
