13 years, 8 months ago at Aug 18 22:26 - I have a couple of questions about duplicate images I'm losing.
Firstly, a lot of pictures that I uploaded like three years+ ago are now being deleted because they are duplicates of ones posted three days ago. The newer images might be 20 odd pixels larger than the ones I've uploaded, but they are not higher resolution. I wondered if you actually check the images or just delete the smaller ones? If it's about size, I will reupload larger versions that I've scaled up artificially if that's all it takes to remain on the site.
Secondly, do you lose the vote points when an image is deleted if it has several votes? Can't help but feel conned that some other user is going to come in, upload what I've already uploaded and run off with the votes he gets.
