Duplicate Entry - Please Delete

Rhayn 9 years, 6 months ago at Oct 12 4:11 -
Hi, I'm new here, and I made a mistake when adding a show.
Please delete:

[Link removed - login to see]

I accidentally pasted the google search link instead of the actual address to the show's page. I've added it properly by using its IMDB page (didn't know it had one!) so this one is now a duplicate.

Sorry!

I believe there is a more general issue.

The fact is, web series are listed as "TV" on IMDb.com, thus they generate a "TV" page when imported into Listal. This can be a good thing, as the page also imports Crew and Cast, with links to the profiles of actors, writers, directors.

Problem is, since the new "Listal 2.0" has a "Web TV and Podcasts" section too, there are going to be lots of duplicate profiles like this one, that is to say both a "TV" profile and a "Web TV" profile for the same web series.

Yea, the fact that the Web TV/Podcasts category hasn't been properly integrated yet is a problem. I'd like to see it included in user's Collection Stats eventually.

I guess it's difficult because IMDb doesn't seem to distinguish between TV and web series, and there isn't really a central place that collects info on web shows.

Either way, using a google search URL is definitely wrong, and I can't really fix this myself. So hopefully an admin can either delete that entry ( [Link removed - login to see] or maybe change it so it points to [Link removed - login to see] instead.

Personally I think IMDb is right to list Web Series in the same category as TV Shows. In the next few years Web TV and regular TV are going to converge. We can already watch Television programs on web sites and apps, both streaming and on demand downloads.
