Double Posting.

I dunno if this bugs anyone else, but it bugs me greatly.

Guys, simply put, please don't double post. Especially if it's like 2 minutes after the first one. Just go up and edit the first one.

I think it's ok to double post if it's been a while and nobody has responded (like a week, not 2 hours), or perhaps if it helps with the dramatic of a joke or something. But please, keep it to a minimum.

It would be nice if doubles were automatically combined with the last like they are on some forums, but I think the whole system needs revision first.

It is irritating if you are posting twice just for the hell of it and your own entertainment. This is a slow forum and posting multiple times just takes up space.

no disrespect to the people that find this 'irritating', but in terms of priority, I'd put this down below 'Make listal a publicly traded company' and 'going to get a root canal'.

Prelude, I agree, but it doesn't even have to be an update. If people would just act mature and stop, then the problem would stop.

Look at the bottom of any topic page. Remember that posting them on a regular basis may be frowned upon though as it can bring down the speed of loading pages for some people. It is best just to post the direct link for larger images and the like and not to use images in your posts too often. ;)

It annoys me that it's "blockquote" instead of just "quote", but *shrugs*.

Well I saw it when you said that. It's like those things that say "DOGS ARE THE THE BEST EVER" but you don't see that it says the twice.
