Don't Blame the Moderators

I've noticed alot of people giving known moderators crap lately for having their pictures deleted and I just want to point out how ridiculous that is. It's like blaming the cops for arresting you when you are breaking the law and it's your neighbor that called them on you in the first place. If you aren't willing to put the blame where it belongs, on yourself, then at least realize that moderators are only doing what's asked of them. I report pictures on a daily basis. I'm not ashamed of it. And if I reported something and they didn't delete it then they wouldn't be doing their jobs.

Here's an easy fix though. STOP posting innapropriate pics. You'd hate this site too if there were penis pics everywhere so have a little respect for women and stop.

The main thing I feel bad about is when people feel slighted at getting legitimate pictures deleted for being duplicates that are much smaller or have tags, though posted earlier. I understand that, so I refer to what I said in the other thread:

It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your picture; just that we now have something which is slightly upgraded. Think of it as the community working together to improve Listal, not as a free-for-all battle to have the picture that doesn't get deleted.

But I definately see men complaining about their porn pics getting deleted or having their posting rights taken away more than anything. And it's never the fault of the reporter, it's always the moderators fault. And as tommyv just proved, they don't want to see man junk on here so why should ladies have to be bombarded with boobs everywhere.

The really bad thing about it is that people come onto the site, see this stuff, and honestly believe it's not against the rules. Some are understanding when corrected. I don't really get too mad at the universe if the unashamed porn posters get hurt feelings, though. ;]

I agree. Originally, I wanted to address people mad because of deleted porn pics but I didn't know there was this problem as well. It just makes sense to me that if we do delete an older picture that has been replaced with a "better" quality one that the original poster still get the votes. And I think it should have to be noticibly bigger too.

Still that's not the moderators fault's either. It's a problem with the site in my opnion.

I know how users feel, I've lost images with votes, but its a challenge to find the best images, if someone finds better, so much the better for the greater good. But I agree that votes should be retained, some users do upload based on the number of votes they'll gain!

As for the abuse, it's only one member who's causing trouble at present. Because his banned images were removed, he went through all my favourites leaving nasty messages - Sorry listal users.

Personally topless female pics are not a problem, in most places outside the USA it is commonly accepted. The USA is pretty uptight still about "boobs", now as for the other half the body male and female I agree this is not the site for that type of stuff. There are plenty of PORN sites to fill that void if necessary. Some of the images deleted though just make me laugh in comparison to the shit that is left up on the site. I had a classy pic of Miranda Kerr deleted for nudity, she was technically nude, however you could not see ANYTHING at all, now we all know there are LOTS 1000's in fact of topless pics here. So with this logic ANY pic of ANY person that is nude though you don't see anything needs to be deleted. At what point to WE draw the line.

I stumbled upon this site about 2 months ago and now I am completely addicted, I am constantly checking in and love it! I do want for there to be some "standard" for the pics allowed, but I also don't want to visit a rated G site either.

Glad you're enjoying the site! I hope you'll be relieved that we do allow a lot of PG-13 things like cursing and tasteful nude art, because users haven't taken those things too far yet. *knocks on wood*

Personally, during my whole Listal career, I just had one pic removed (for a bogus reason in my opinion) so I don't have any grudge whatsoever. Anyway, dowloading chick pics has now become a national sport here on Listal and it seems to be an impossible job for the moderators to keep up.
