Donations?

You have done a great job and I look forward to seeing the new stuff you come up with.

I was wondering if there was a way to donate $ for your work or help with some of the hosting cost? Maybe a way to buy some of the things on your wanted list? (That would be a cool feature - the ability to tag an item another user has on a wanted list as 'on the way' so they/someone else doesn't buy it for them)

That would be cool. My quesion is there any officlal affiliate link buttons or support icons and user banners.

I don't have much cash $ but I would be happen to send people here. I'm even asking my users to upload their database to here to make it easier to share (having your wown personal sub url is beyond my means).

(This is why I avicate having a universal user database for inter-site usability. This would be the main site for the users and the joined sites would bring more traffic here... but that's another story)

Thanks for the offers! :) but I expect to generate revenue from the amazon links on the product pages and later advertising (I plan to keep this to the minimum).

If this project ever required more than one server and wasn't generating much revenue I would probably start asking for donations but I hope this will never be the case.

This may be obvious but if members put the books, dvds etc they intend to buy on Amazon in their Wanted list, then clicked on the link from there before they buy, it would be a simple way to generate revenue for Listal. A pity I didn't find this site earlier as I've just bought some stuff from Amazon. Will do so in future.

(As a new user, the more I use this site, the more I see how powerful it is, and using tags will help me sort out my library at home. At last!)
