Do many regulars still frequent here or is this place dead?

Groups has had its ups and downs, mainly downs, but it seems like most of the massive problems have been solved from the fact there are almost no children threads being posted now.

When I signed up here it was under the assumption that this site was for Films/Games/Music reviews, ratings, conversation. When the forums turned from being about that, to being an outrageous hive of anime loving, emo bull shit, over run with 7-14 year olds trying to skive off of their school work the only way to fix it (Since it is not possible for members to be permanently banned) was to be hostile to pretty much everyone under the age of 19 so they no longer used the site.

IMO this has worked.

So that being said, is there anyone actually still out there worth talking to? Or have you all left because the children and the hostilities become to much to put up with? I can think of countless users who used to talk here all the time but stopped. Its becoming pointless even checking this part for updates lately.

The forum I go on has constant interaction 24/7, most do normally. Its very weird that a forum is this silent!

Oh well the majority of them left along with the animefags.

A traditional forum layout would be fantastic, I'd prefer it compared to what we have now.

I was gone for a while and now just came back. Ive been through alot of shitty forums in the past monthes.

Would love to see a vB style forum here instead of this groups section. I say go for it!

Those kind of forums have loads of beneficial features we could utilize here. Seeing who is online being the main one that would cut down on a lot of needless threads!!

Yeah im happy i got over the crazy anime stage. I mean i still like Anime but i don't go crazy about it like i used to. For those who don't remember me i used to be Koji.

I've been checking back every now and then out of habit but I find myself to be rather busy lately. Oh dear.

Well the Anime section was crazyand delt with but wont lie I was one of the Anime people but I grew up Im 17 now and now know that what I was doing was foolish but fun so all the Anime people left or grew up like I see some Anime people still here but the thingis they are more mature except the little handful of them. But I do know that Listal isn't dead just people don't talk on the forum part anymore. If people made the forum more interesting then you would get more people.(any comments by Vincent will not be evaluated by me because I don't like him and he will say something to get me mad)

Vincent gets everyone mad first off. Secondly the only thing i miss from teh anime days were the roleplays. I still participate in Roleplays on otehr sites but i mean they are advanced past what we did on here. If we could bring roleplaying back it would allow people to get to know each other faster and it does help with writing. You get better and faster. I should know i used to suck at my writing style now its a bit better. Not perfect but better.

When the new forum feature is in place, please make sure there is a facility to block certain members from either:

- Reading/Commenting on your future posts
- Accessing the forum
- Appearing in other threads

It would make things run a bit smoother. I was wondering wether this place is only lively when there is an argument going on. It seems most of the above that have recently come out to post are likely to force everyone else back underground.

I'll keep checking groups, but I'll come back when things are better.

Im sorry i don't mean to push anyone out or back underground as you put it. I just needed a place for intelligent conversation and this is the only place that it can happen without constant flaming.

Then there are the normal people who just post to post and talk to other like minded people.

Yep and nathaniel stop bitching please you started the flame war by believing you were superior to everyone else in every other thread so please shush and I will too on this matter.
I think the place is better now you shouldn't bring rps back as the place would degenerate in to the place it was before and you'd lose even more people this time around.
Maybe some interesting word games like that one where you have to use a word that starts with the previous's final letter.
Other than that I'm only really here to check on stuff e.g the stupid amount of messages I get or to update stuff which I've got to go and do actually as I haven't in a while.

To be honest sigs kinda sorta really bother me. If it's absolutely necessary perhaps something relating to the listing aspect of the site, perhaps a listing of the current collection stats. And maybe a one-liner with no html. Sigs are really annoying when they are annoying.

I wouldn't mind a more traditional looking forum though.

I actualy just use words for my sig on other forums.

Jus' make sure sigs can be turned off Big T.

I agree I think a classical forum should be awesome. Just limit image sizes.

Actualy if we were to go with your idea i would be a great choice to mod the roleplaying sections. I have been roleplaying for over nine monthes and in jully it will have been a full year. I'm actualy up for a Mod position on a Roleplay only site where you get invited based off how good you are on other sites that we all Roleplay on.

Role play is never going to return here. Jesus titty fucking Christ.
