"Display image rows per page" instead of "Display images

... per page"

Would it be possible to display image pages in rows instead of a prescribed amount of images?
Since the pages, with more than a hundred pics, often look incomplete when they are displayed by, for example, 100 images per page.
If you would change it, the pages could contain the exact amount of images to fill out the page.
The unused space doesn't look classy.

That's not possible since the number of images per row is not fixed
