Deleting wanted DVDs

ESC LH DVDs 18 years ago at Jun 26 10:05 -
I can't find any way to delete DVDs in the 'Wanted' list. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Go to your Wanted DVDs list, click the check box next to the titles you want to delete, then at the bottom of the page, select "delete" from the dropdown and go!

You would think this was the process to follow, except when i get to the bottom of the page there is no dropdown when i am viewing my Wanted DVD list. Can someone take a look at this and let us know whats going on.

Does you're URL say esclh.listal.com/wanted/dvds/1/
rather than: www.listal.com/wanted/dvds

The first is you're public profile - and doesn't let you delete stuff - the second will display you're wanted list and give you the drop down to delete stuff (if you're logged in)

I am definitely in my own wanted list, with my username in the URL, and i still don't get a drop down box to delete items with. Any ideas, and on another note, why if i am logged in and coming from my profile page do the links take me to a URL that doesn't contain my username, even if i was logged out i would expect the URL to have my username in it if you clicked a link to view a list from my profile, like my wanted list. Any plans to fix this up?

Read the previous post again. To delete items, you need to be at a URL without your user name. To get there, log in (if not already), then click on the "Listal" logo. You should get an information page about you (not your profile) with options to edit stuff. Then under "Collection Stats" click the number in the Wanted column of the DVDs row. That should get you there.

Or of course you could just click here

Yes this is confusing, the original idea was that looking at the subdomain url you can see your profile as other people see it. I might change this so you can still do all the editing functions under this url.
